I’ve Gotta Feeling – Black Eyed Peas – 4:04
Add Some Resistance and stand up on the bike…..get your legs moving with the beat, watch mine and try to match my pace. When we are standing on the bike…balance your weight evenly over the pedals, use hands for balance only, core in, back straight – feel tapping of the saddle on your glutes
Speed it up from a jog to a run
Just Can’t Get Enough – Depeche Mode 3:36 - hill
We are going to get some water, and take a seat….we are starting up a hill, add some resistance so you feel a push point at 3:00 – explain clock and push point
Beverly Hills – Weezer – 3:15 - hill
Hill Just got steep – add resistance and feel push point at 1:00…we are going to add more in a minute…your feet should be moving with the cadence of the music…if they are going faster, add more resistance – show those quads that you love them
Mony Mony – Billy Idol – 5:00 – we are going to be at a jogging speed with some power surges at the chorus, we will stand for the first two and then stay seated for the second 2.
You want to make sure you have enough gear on your bike, it is less stress on your knees and ankles when your major muscles are working and absorbing that resistance
