I love this WEBSITE........it's the best out there folks. Glad to share one of my favorite routines with everyone...so here goes!
Pick some of your favorite songs with a good CLIMBING BEAT...I have downloaded an iMix for you to check out...
Music for Cycling Back to S'COOL iMix...on iTunes for you to check out! You could use some of these!
Pick the songs you want to use...any climbing songs will do! Tell the class how long the climb is...add up those minutes! I've done 10 to 20 minute climbs...I get bored any longer than that...but that's ME!
Standing Climb=Total number of minutes...set "gear" to start...Stand up and climb! I tell my class to "get comfortable" with the climb...there will be lots of time to "get uncomfortable" with the challenges!
Add: Challenges to keep the class into the climb! Challenges can be any amount of seconds...I use :15 to :30 then back off challenge and contiue your climb...straight to the top!
Challenges: + 1 gear, +2 gear, +3 gear, Jumps, Hover, Standing Double Time Pace...pick up's, Seated Double Time Pace...pick up's.... + a gear and sit and climb.
Any challenge will do...you can even ask members in your class for challenge suggestions...or have a bunch in a basket and just pick them out each minute. Lots of fun...as challenging as you want...or need!
