An oldie but a goodie!  Clickhere for music to match routine

Originally posted by Janna many moons ago...the basic idea of this routine can be adjusted to fit your style, your music and your class.  Very simple, choose 6-10 "moves", each time a new song starts do the first move for :30 then switch and do move #2 for :30...alternate thru the whole song.  Next song, take move #2 and alternate every :30 with move #3....all the way to the end.  You can put moves/drills in any order that makes sense to you.  Here is an example:

  • outta my system:  warm up
  • adult education:  warm up  and can add standing to warm up
  • in da club:  sit/stand climb alternating every :30
  • baby I'm back: stand climb/hover climb alternating every :30
  • It's tricky: hover/jog
  • getting jiggy: jog/rock and roll(also called lean over legs)
  • pimpin all over world: rock and roll/slow jumps
  • bust a move: fast jumps/jog
  • don't stop the music: jog /seated sprint alternating every :30

next is the final drill

  • fever: 1:00 climb/1:00 jumps/1:00 sprint...one right after the other
  • Gimmie more: 1:00 climb/1:00 jumps/1:00 sprints one right after the other

If I have used a term that you are not familar with, please search on the main page, under routines for "the many moves of spinfreak"...this should answer any aquestions.  Thanks!  Have fun!  caroline
