80's Eclectic (1164)

In this 60 minute routine (approximately), I love to jump, sprint, isolate, and climb or basically run the gamut of spinning fun.  A lot of the ladies in my class are in their late 30's/early 40's so I like to bring it old school!  This music list is for those of us perpetually stuck in the 80's!

1. "Miami Vice Theme" - Standing Push-ups.

2. "Bohemian Rhapsody" - Seated Climb.  Resistance starts at a 4 and increases in 30 sec intervals up to a 7 (60 sec) and then back down to a 4 where you sprint to the finish.

3. "What I Like About You" - Jumps

4. "Welcome to the Jungle" - Seated Sprints.  Resistance 4 - 15/15; 30/30; 45/45; 60/60

5. "Walk Like An Egyptian" - Isolations.  Resistance 5 - 10/10; 20/20; 30/30; 40/40

6. "Shadows of the Night" - Push-ups/Hovers.  Resistance 5 - alternate every 30 sec

7. "Dream On" - Hills.  Resistance 5 - seated:30 sec.  Resistance 8 - standing: 60 sec.  Alternate.

8. "68 Guns" - Standing Climb.  Start at a Resistance 5 and increase resistance every 20 sec until you reach a resistance of 9 and then work your way back down.

9. "I Melt With You" - Seated Climb/Hover.  Start at a Resistance 6 seated - Hover during chorus then increase resistance with each stanza and then hover during each chorus.  Should finish at a Resistance 9.

10. "Hockey Monkey" (not an 80's song, but my kids love it!) - Seated jog.  Resistance 3.

11. "Relax" - Standing Sprints.  Resistance 4 - 15/15; 30/30; 45/45 etc.

12. "Personal Jesus" - Grind Time.  Standing at Resistance 7 (120sec), Resistance 8 (120sec), Resistance 9 (60sec), Resistance 8 until song ends.

13. "Under Pressure" - Hand Games.  Resistance 5 - standing, change hand positions 1, 2, 3 every 15 secs never in the same order.

14. "Baby Got Back" - Class Choice

15. "Total Eclipse of the Heart" - Cool Down.
