BATTLE OF THE SEXES AND PET PEEVES
I have not played this game yet but got the idea from a radio station I listen too in the morning. I am going to divide the room into men on one side and women on the other (now they might grumble because people like their spot) but I think the fun and laughter will win out in the end.
I pulled a bunch of questions off the internet using the search title battle of the sexes. I am going to use roughly 12 questions per side.
The men get the women's questions and the women get the men questions.
If the men get it wrong the women get to tell them what their punishment is i.e sprint for 30 seconds and visa versa.
I have not worked out all of the details yet but it sounds like class will love this one.
My second idea (which I have done) usually towards the last 15 minutes of class is PET PEEVES.
Everybody has them. Rules if spouses spin together it can not be about the other spouse. No dukes up in my class. If someone has already stated that peeve you can not repeat it. Once you state Pet Peeve you can give a comment on it. We had so much fun with this and it was interesting to hear all the comments. i.e. I started with I hate when my co-workers do not fill up the ice cube trays at work. I feel like I am at home with my teenagers.
Hope you can you this one we usually do a climb during this segment. It is a great way to bond your class together. My classes are usually large we are blessed to have 34 bikes in our spin room.
